You can ask Ultimate Marine to delete the personal information we hold about you. This page explains how, and what happens next. It applies to information you gave us on our websites, by phone, text, email or in person, and to information we received about you through Facebook or Instagram, such as a lead form you submitted on one of our ads or pages.
How to request deletion
- Go to our Contact page and send a message that starts with “Data deletion request.” Include your full name and the email address and phone number you used with us, so we can find your records. Please do not include sensitive details such as payment card numbers or Social Security numbers.
- Or call us at (407) 289-1220 and ask for a data deletion request.
What happens next
- We will confirm we received your request and may ask you to verify your identity before we act on it.
- We will delete or de-identify your personal information from our systems, and ask our service providers to do the same, within 30 days of verifying your request, unless the law lets or requires us to keep it longer.
- We will let you know when your request is complete.
Information we may need to keep
We may keep limited information where needed for legal, tax, accounting, warranty, safety or fraud-prevention purposes, for example records of a boat purchase or service. We will tell you what we kept and why when we respond.
Information on Facebook and Instagram
Deleting your information with us does not delete your Facebook or Instagram account or the content you have posted on those platforms. You can manage the information Meta holds and the apps and businesses connected to your account in your Facebook settings, under “Apps and websites” or “Business integrations,” and in Meta Ad Preferences.
For more about how we handle personal information, read our Privacy Policy.
